Maritimers know the joy of a real kitchen party. You are invited to join talented musicians, local storytellers and spontaneous fun at the Miramichi Kitchen Party in the heart of downtown Miramichi.
Join Saltwater Sounds on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00pm all summer long for rousing music, salty stories and forgotten folklore in the genuine atmosphere of a down-home Maritime kitchen. Soak up the culture, served up as entertainment, without missing a beat in the sing-along.
The performance switches seamlessly from English to French, weaving historical information into the live program. This cozy space is set in a vintage building with wonderful acoustics. You hear every nuance of the musical instruments in an environment where you can find and purchase high-quality, hard-to-find recordings by regional artists.
No kitchen party would be complete without New Brunswick’s own King Cole Tea, served piping hot, along with a sinful dessert. So dig in and enjoy… your toes will tap as the music gets spirited and the step dancing begins!
