The final event of the 2017 Motorsports season at Speedway Miramichi comes to a thrilling conclusion this Saturday, with the 2017 edition of the Chi City Showdown! Events will be contested in 4 motorsports divisions including:

->Patterson Sales & Service Street Stock 100 imo Amy Jardine; The Street Stocks make their return to Speedway Miramichi for the first time in 2017 with a 100 lap race. Nearly 2 dozens cars are expected to compete for the win, and a purse exceeding $3000!

->2017 Demolition Finale; The final Demolition event of the 2017 season will be part of the Chi City Showdown. One of the biggest car counts of the year are expected, as drivers compete in popular events such as the Figure 8 race, Reverse Race, Dash for Cash, Powder Puff, and more!

->Atlantic Modified Tour 50- The Atlantic Modified Tour will crown their 2017 tour champion on Saturday with a 50 lap race. It's a 3 car battle for the title, with Miramichi's own Doug Matchett right in the middle of it! Miramichi area drivers Steven Curtis, Chris Wilson, and Braxton Stafford are also expected to be part of the Modified field on Saturday.

->Mini Stock 50- The Mini Stock class will close out their season with a 50 lap feature. With the points champion already decided, nothing but bragging rights will be on the line. A healthy field of over a dozen cars is expected to compete.

Grandstands open at 1pm. A memorial for Amy Jardine will be held at 1:45pm, followed by action getting underway at 2pm. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for youth (8-17) and seniors, free for kids 7 and under, and $20 for the pits. The popular family plan pricing will be in effect as well; $35 for 2 adults and 2 youth!
