Mrs. Helen Campbell Ross
of
Gremley Drive,
Miramichi, wife of the late Rev.
Robert Alexander Ross passed away Thursday evening, April 26, 2012, at Miramichi
Regional
Hospital, at the age
of
100. Born in Walton,
Nova Scotia, she was
the daughter of the late William
and Bertha L. (Tomlinson) Campbell.
She was a retired
R.N. at Miramichi
Hospital
and a
member of St Andrew’s United Church.
She is survived by two
daughters, Erna Kathleen Hare
(Daryl) of Miramichi, Margaret Helen Chase (Doug) of Lyttleton, two sons, Robert
Ian Ross
(Farideh) of Fredericton, Gordon
Alexander Ross
(Evelyn)
of
Miramichi, one
sister, Muriel
Butler, 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and her
husband she
was predeceased by three sisters, Kathleen MacDonald,
Florence
Thrope and Jennie
MacDonald, four brothers, Vernon, John, Clarence and Frederick
Campbell.
At the request of Helen there will
be
no
visitation at the
funeral home. A public
Funeral Service will
be
held Monday, April 30, 2012 at 2
p.m. at Davidson’s Funeral
Home Chapel, with
Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight officiating.
