Miramichi's Funeral Announcements Byron J.P. McIntyre



Byron J.P. McIntyre passed away peacefully at his home on March 11th, 2017 at the age of 76 years.

He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He worked at CFB Chatham and

retired when the base closed. He was a member of St. Michael’s Basilica and 3rd degree member of

the Knights of Columbus. He loved being outdoors especially hunting, fishing and was a member of the

ATV Club. He also enjoyed in later years his time with family & friends at his cottage in Loggieville.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Ellen (Rigley) McIntyre, his children, Michael (Ramona),

Theresa (Mike) and Ellen Marie (Tony) and his grandchildren also his brothers and sisters. Rose Fleiger,

Vivian Duncan, Tom McIntyre, Debbie Walsh, Ron McIntyre, Cathy Young. He was predeceased by his

father Byron McIntyre Sr. and his mother Vivian (Moran) McIntyre and one brother Fred.

There will be no visitation and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Basilica on Friday March 17th, @ 11:00 A.M. with Fr. John Beaumaster officiating with reception to follow in church basement.
