Mary “Virginia” Dedam
Mary “Virginia” Dedam, wife of Raymond Dedam, of Burnt Church, NB, passed away at her residence on Saturday, March 11th, 2017 at the age of 65. Born in Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Charlotte (Ward) Francis. Virginia was a homemaker.
Virginia is survived by four daughters: Stephanie Larry (Talbot), Anne LeClair (Bertrand), Carrie Barnaby (Jason) and Crystal Francis, all of Burnt Church, NB; three sons: Raymond “Buddy” Dedam, Rayburn Dedam (Francine) and Dana Dedam, all of Burnt Church, NB; four sisters: Sara Joe, Emily Mitchell, Roseanne Joe, all of Burnt Church, NB and Linda Jerome of Maria, QC; twenty five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Virginia is predeceased by her parents: Patrick and Charlotte (Ward) Francis, three sisters: Madeline, Laura and Mildred and four brothers: William, Robert, Matthew and Raymond.
Visitation will be held at her residence, 594 Bayview Drive, Burnt Church, NB on Tuesday after 2 PM and again on Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Burnt Church, NB, on Thursday, March 16th at 2 PM with Father Anthony Papu officiating. Burial will take place in St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery later in the spring.
