James Joseph Martin, 35 yrs old, passed away suddenly in a motor vehicle accident. Born on January 28, 1982. He was predeceased by the love of his life , Amanda Gulliver, survived by two step-sons, Steven and Nash Matchett, survived by his father Marvin J. Martin, predeceased by his mother Yvette (Manuel) Martin, survived by one brother, Marven Jr. (Chantal) Martin, one sister Deborah (Terry) Potter, two nephews, Mark-André Martin and Chase Potter; two nieces; Natasha Martin and MacKenzie Morris, grandparents, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was a laborer by trade and an avid fisherman and hunter. He had a great passion for the outdoors, and had a tremendous love for children. For those who have had the chance of meeting James was surely blessed. Everyone will always remember his beautiful smile.

James Joseph Martin rested at the Baie Sainte-Anne Slumberoom in Baie Sainte-Anne on Tuesday April 18, 2017 form 2-4 & 7-9, and on Wednesday April 19, 2017 from 9am until the time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at 11am from St Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Sainte-Anne with Fr Gilbert Levesque officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Christie Martin, Steven Martin, Mike Martin, Mathew McDonald, Raymond Lee Martin, Randy Walsh, Rene Robichaud, Terry McCollum, Michael (Kimbo) Matchett, Steven Matchett, and Jeff Haye.
