Mr. Ernest Cecil Arbeau, husband of the late Ruth Elsie O’Donnell, of Main Street Doaktown, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday June 28, 2017 at the age of 89.
Born in Maple Grove, NB, he was the son of the late William and Emily (Devereux) Arbeau. He was retired from Canadian National Railway, Section Maintenance, The Army Reserve, a Contract Plumber and a former member of Orange Lodge (Carrolls Crossing).
He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Arbeau (Billy Reid) of Fredericton and Karen (Arbeau) Furlotte of Lower Derby, his sons; Ken (Lynn Armstrong) of Moncton and Keith (Audrey) of Bridgewater N.S., six grandchildren; Jeffery Arbeau, Pam Porter, Melanie Furlotte, Erika Bekker , Erin Real and Jamie Lynn Arbeau and six great grandchildren, Michelle, Emily, Olivia, Hannah, Sarah and Carter.
He was predeceased by his parents and wife.
Mr. Ernest Cecil Arbeau is resting at St Andrew’s Anglican Church Doaktown on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 2pm at St Andrew’s Anglican Church Doaktown with Reverend Neil Osiowy officiating. Burial will be in St John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Carrolls Crossing at a later date.
In his memory, donations to New Brunswick Heart and Stroke, Miramichi Regional Hospital Palliative Care, St Mary’s Anglican Community Kitchen or St Andrew’s Anglican Church Doaktown would be appreciated by the family.
