The death of David Stephen Curtis husband of Marilyn (Matchett) Curtis of Trout Brook, NB, occurred at his residence on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the age of 59. Born in Newcastle, NB, Stephen was the son of the late Henry and Leona (Allison) Curtis.
Stephen was employed as a Fly Fishing Guide with the Big Hole Fishing Camps.
Besides his wife, Marilyn, Stephen is survived by two daughters: Amanda Curtis of Chatham, NB and Andrea Curtis of Cumberland Bay, NB; one son: Jamie Goguen (Melessa) of Napan, NB, one sister: Mary Ramsay (Jim) of Nordin, NB; one brother: Paul (Darline) of Bellfond, NB; four grandchildren: Carson, Elexis, Brylee and Kallie and several nieces and nephews.
Stephen is predeceased by three brothers: Bobby, Lawrence and Douglas.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated from St. James Roman Catholic Church, Sevogle, NB, on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 11 AM with Father Dan Melanson officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In Stephen’s memory a donation may be made to to St. James Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund or a Memorial of one’s choice.
