Jeanne (Savoie) Doiron, aged 88, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, January 8th 2018 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Tracadie NB on July 28th 1929 to George and Delima (Thibodeau) Savoie. She was the second of six children.
She was predeceased in death by her parents, infant sisters Yvonne and Marie Savoie, brother Edgar Savoie, sister Ida (Savoie) Duguay, and sister Marianne ( Savoie ) Comeau, former husband Alcide Doiron, son Edouard Doiron, son Lorenzo Doiron, and daughter Rose-Ida (Doiron) Hubbard.
She is survived by son Donald (Lise Joly) Doiron, Anne-Marie (Jim) Chamberlain, Carmen (Arlene Russell) Doiron, Carmella Doiron, and Magella ( Yoland Leclerc) Doiron.
She is also survived by her stepbrothers Alcide Savoie, Delmar (Claudette Leclair) Savoie, Edgar Savoie and stepsisters Yvonne (Ted McNeil) Savoie and Raymonde Steward.
She has also been blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held at the Beaverbrook Roman Catholic Church on Friday, January 12th at 11 a.m.
A viewing will be held at Davidson’s Funeral Home ( 597 Old King George Hwy ) on Thursday January 11th from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 p.m.
The family would like to thank the caring staff of Villa Du Repos and the wonderful medical staff at the Moncton Hospital. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Jeanne to the Canadian Lung Association.
