2020 Rogersville Winter Carnival – February 22nd to March 1st, 2020
The Rogersville Winter Carnival will be taking place from February 22nd to March 1st, 2020 in the Village of Rogersville, New Brunswick.
Just 45 minutes from the City of Miramichi, this is event is a little over a week full of activities for all ages that you don’t want to miss!
Bring a friend, a family member or anyone out for a fun filled time out to the Village of Rogersville!
Schedule of Events
Saturday, February 22nd, 2020
From 9 am to 11 am – Swamp Runner Fun Run (Depart Club 126 at 11 am)
From 1:30 pm to 4 pm – Official Opening of the New Public Library at their new location at the Rogersville Co-Op
At 6 pm – Research Rally at Kevin Pitrie’s Trail.
Teams: Adult (Maximum 2) / (Minimum 1)
Student (Maximum 5)
Admission – Adults $5., Students $2. and Children Preschool and Under – Free
Flashlight and Snowshoes if necessary.
7:30 pm – Music Evening with the three parishes at the Collette Community Centre. $10. a person for admission with a bar and canteen available. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
Sunday, February 23rd, 2020
From 8 am to 12 pm noon – Baden Powel Scouts will be hosting a Breakfast at the Golden Age Club.
Small Breakfast is $5. per person and Large Breakfast is $6. per person.
At 1:30 pm – Penny Sale at the Golden Age Club
Tuesday, February 25th, 2020
At 6 pm – Children’s Film at the Public Library
Wednesday, February 26th, 2020
At 1 pm – Brain Teasers at the Public Library
Thursday, February 27th, 2020
At the Public Library, there will be a Escape Room available during opening hours. Registration recommended to reserve a date and time.
At 8 pm – Trivia Evening (19 years and over) at the Club 126, hosted by the Parents Committee of the L’Acadie School. $10. per person and maximum 6 people per team. Registration is on site.
Friday, February 28th, 2020
At 4 pm, there will be a Supper at the Golden Age Club. Serving cod and grilled meats. $13. for members of the Golden Age Club and $16. for non members of the Golden Age Club. Tickets will be available from February 16th by contacting Florine Caissie at 1-506-775-6047.
At 7:30 pm, there will be a Card Game for 19 years and over at the Pleasant Ridge Recreation Club. $20. per person and there will be a canteen and bar available.
Saturday, February 29th, 2020
From 12:30 pm to 4 pm, there will be a Darts Tournament at the Pleasant Ridge Recreation Club. $5. per person and there will be a canteen and bar available.
At 2 pm, there will be a visit from Children’s Author Nicole Poirier at the Public Library.
At 7 pm, there will be a Cribbage Tournament at the Pleasant Ridge Recreation Club. $10. per person and there will be a canteen and bar available.
Sunday, March 1st, 2020
At 6 pm, there will be Family Skating at the Rogersville Arena.
At 7 pm, there will be Slides and Hot Chocolate outside of the Rogersville Arena. Bring your own sleds.
Also at 7 pm, In the dark, there will be fireworks, bonfires and door prizes to be won.
