Event Details - Chi Shanty Music Festival

The ‘Chi Shanty Music Festival is Miramichi’s first sea shanty festival: free admission, family-friendly, and packed with great music and maritime spirit! The main entrance is located at 35 St. Patrick’s Drive, Miramichi, and the festival is taking place in the Bicentennial Park in Nelson. Look for signage and check out the festival map on our website before your arrival! There will be live performances all day, food, as well as a vendor market, and a swashbuckling interactive sword fighting performance on Saturday at 1PM! Make sure to check out the city-wide ‘Chi Shanty After Party at local bars and pubs - Timbership Brewing, and Chi Breezy at Ritchie Wharf, Mikes Bar & Grill with Raglan Road, and O’Donagues (bring a card from the fest to the O’don’s for a beer special)!
