Event Details - The Day of 8's - Demo & Stock Car Action

IT'S DEMO TIME IN THE MARITIMES! The highly anticipated "Day of 8's" is here! The toughest demolition competitors from the Miramichi area and all over New Brunswick will compete at Speedway Miramichi this Saturday!

5 qualifying events will be contested at 8 laps each - the Dash for Cash, Powder Puff, Back Up, Kidney Shaped Heat and Bag Races!

The action will culminate with a 2 part grand finale - a 48 lap Figure 8 Race, which will turn into an old school Demolition Derby when 48 laps have been run, or only 8 cars remain - whichever comes first!

Also part of the festivities will be the popular burnout competition, which will see everything from crown vic's to off road trucks and more compete to perform the best burnout!

The stock car racing portion of the card presented the wildest action in June, and this could be the case once again! With rivalries forming and the chase for the championship heating up, the Modified division has been the class to watch, with Sportsman veterans challenging young rookies!

Also on tap is action from the Street Stock, Mini Stock, and Dukes divisions!

With August being a month off, this will be your last chance to catch action at the Speedway before September! Make plans to be at Speedway Miramichi on Saturday!
