He has the uncanny ability to make audiences feel as if they are watching the real thing live on stage.His portrayal of Elvis is so eerily close onstage that he is actually endorsed by several people who worked and performed on stage with Elvis in the 1970's including Bill Baize of JD Sumner and the Stamps Gospel Quartet who toured with Elvis from 1971-76. Baize is quoted as saying "Thane Dunn is the closest thing to Elvis I have ever seen".
