Anna Jeanette (McLeod) Hetherington, wife of the late Bryan Hetherington of Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home formerly of Chaplin Island Road NB, passed away Tuesday December 4, 2018 at Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home surrounded by her adoring family, at the age of 78.
Born in Newcastle NB, she was the daughter of the late George and Sarah (Street) McLeod.
She was retired from Just Kids Day Care and a member of the United Church.
She is survived by three daughters: Penny Keenan (Mark) of Miramichi, Pam Hetherington of Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, Jacqueline McEachern (Ronnie) of Tabusintac, one son: Rickey (Diana) Hetherington of Miramichi, one sister: Gladys Misener (late David) of Head Chezzetcook NS, one brother: Charles McLeod (Beverly) of Armprior ON, five grandchildren: Stephanie, Allan, Shelby, Steven and Megan, six great grandchildren: Lincoln, Julianna, Zoey, Easton, Nolan and Miller.
Besides her parents, and her husband, she was predeceased by one daughter Katherine Anne, one son Steven Charles and three brothers: David, John (Inez), Frederick (Edna) one brother-in-law David Misener.
Anna Jeanette Hetherington is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Highway, Miramichi, with visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9.
The Funeral Service will be held Saturday December 8, 2018, at 2 pm at St. James & St. John United Church with Reverend Alice Szemök and Reverend Charlene Maguire MacKnight officiating.
Burial will be in Miramichi Cemetery later in the spring.
