The family of Ardith Ann (Hamilton) Somers is saddened by her recent passing on May 3rd, 2019.
They rest in the assurance that her personal faith in Christ has ushered her into the promise that “absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”
Love, gentleness, wisdom, beauty and grace shone from within Ardith as she lived her life daily with simplicity and joy.
To many she was a true friend and confidential listener.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, children and grandchildren who so richly enjoyed the intimacy of her love and devotion.
Ardith’s legacy lives on through her husband, Rev. Dr. Leslie Somers; her daughter Tamara Klebert (Matthew, son-in-law); her son Adam Somers (Carito, daughter-in-law) and her five grandchildren: Bethany Klebert, Madelyn Klebert, Caleb Klebert, Luca Somers and Nico Somers.
She is predeceased by her parents, Cecil and Cary Hamilton.
She is mourned and celebrated by her sisters and brothers: Sheila Rackham (Roland); Harold Hamilton; Cecile MacTavish (Merl); Eric Hamilton (Dianne) and Heather Wrobel (Charlie) as well as dear nephews and nieces.
Visitation: Tuesday, May 7th, 2019, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm at The Little Southwest Baptist Church, Sillikers, NB.
“Homegoing” Celebration on Wednesday, May 8th, 2019, at 11:00 am at The Little Southwest Baptist Church, Sillkers, NB, officiated by Rev. Donald Calder.
Burial: Lyttleton Baptist Cemetery, Lyttleton, NB.
