The death of Mary Caroline (Jordan) Hare, wife of the late Wesley Hare of Strathadam, NB occurred on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 85.
Born in North Esk Boom, NB, she was the daughter of the late John “Harold” and Roberta (Adams) Jordan.
Besides being a homemaker, Mary retired in 1995 from N.B.G.I.C. Corporation.
She was a member of St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church, Sunny Corner and member of the Atlantic Mission Society.
Mary is survived by: one daughter: Carolyn Joyce Walsh (Keith) of Douglastown, NB; one son: Harold Sydney Hare (Tanya Hamilton) of Strathadam, NB; two grandchildren: Jordan Walsh (Natasha); Amy MacDonald (Nathan); two great grandchildren: Zane MacDonald and Weston Walsh; brother in law: Cecil; sisters in law: Eleanor, Faye and Erna; several nieces and nephews: Brad, Colleen, Faye, Karen, Tina, Cathy, Robert, Cheryl, Stephen, Ricky and Cyndi.
Besides her parents and husband, Mary is predeceased by: two sisters: Margaret Adams Dunnett and Mildred “Jean” Mullin.
The family will receive visitors at Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB, on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 1-3 PM only.
The Funeral Service will be held from The H. Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB, on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at 3 PM with Pastor Wilbur Matthews officiating.
Burial will take place in the St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Boom Road, NB.
In Mary’s memory donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church, or a memorial of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
