Alma (Savoy) McIntyre, wife of the late Alden “Bido” McIntyre of Miramichi, NB, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 4th, 2019, at the age of 82.
Born in Chatham Head, NB, Alma was the daughter of the late Adolph and Celeste (Babineau) Savoy.
Alma was a homemaker.
Alma is survived by three sisters: Mary Ferguson (Sterling) of Saint John, NB, Nin Landry (late Joey) of Chatham Head, NB and Harriet Dooks (Peter) of Moncton, NB; three brothers: Junior Savoy (Gertrude) of Murray Settlement, NB, James Savoy (Linda) of Moncton, NB and Ricky Savoy (Brenda) of Nowlanville, NB; special nieces: Jennifer Comeau and Jocelyn Napke; special great nieces: Jadia and Kennedy as well as nephew: Cayden.
Besides her parents: Adolph and Celeste (Babineau) Savoy and husband: Alden “Bido” McIntyre, Alma is predeceased by three brothers: Charlie, Carl and infant brother Leo as well as one infant sister: Josephine.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB, on Friday evening, July 5th, 2019, from 7-9 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Chatham Head, NB, on Saturday, July 6th, 2019, at 11 AM with Father Paul LeBlanc officiating.
Burial will take place in the Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Nelson-Miramichi, NB.
As expressions of sympathy, in Alma’s memory, donations may be made to the Miramichi SPCA, Miramichi Food Bank or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
