Who are “The Villagers” Chorus??

Originally founded in 2009 out of a residence at Retirement Miramichi Inc., The Villagers Chorus moved their rehearsals to the RMI Hermitage Club House and then to the Saint Andrew’s United Church in Chatham where the group now practices every Sunday evening at 7 PM.

The Villagers Chorus (Reg’d) is comprised of over 20 SATB voices, a director, and an accompanist. Six members are church choir directors and organists themselves and one member is a certified music educator.

Members of The Villagers Chorus vary in their ability to read music and share their talent and skills as a group to bring out the best in the pieces they endeavour to learn and perform! As with most choruses, we could use more men. Our tenors and basses work hard but are outnumbered.

We welcome new male and female voices to share the joy of singing with us. Anyone interested in joining us please contact via email: miramichivillagers@gmail.com
