Description

With the announcement of New Brunswick Health Restrictions moving into the “Yellow Phase” (50 people in an outside gathering with social distancing), the 3rd Annual Stephen “Steve” Lee Morris Memorial Bike Run will be held on Saturday, July 4th, 2020.

The Public Health Guidelines will be adhered to regarding COVID-19.

Social Distancing will be practiced. Hand Sanitizer, Disinfectant Wipes, and Disinfectant Spray will be readily available.

If you prefer to wear a mask, please bring one with you.

If you have been out of province or been in contact with someone from Zone 5, please refrain from attending this event.

If you have signs or symptoms of COVID-19, please refrain from attending this event.

Classic and Antique cars are also welcome to join the bikes and follow them.

Like last year’s run, they ask that everyone please meet at Saint Michael’s the Archangel Basilica Roman Catholic Church, 10 Howard Street, Miramichi East – Chatham at 3:00 pm.

From there, they will cross the Centennial Bridge and cruise down to the Néguac Tim Hortons, 774 Rue Principale Street and / or Pub 981, 981 Rue Principale Street in the Village of Néguac, and cruise back up to the Miramichi, making a stop to see Stephen’s “Steve’s” resting place at Saint Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, located at 88 Bartibog Church Road, Bartibogue Bridge.

Following the memorial bike run, everyone is welcome to join family and friends at the Morris Family residence (even if you don’t have a bike, antique or classic car), located at 433 Route 11 Highway in Lower Newcastle for food, refreshments, prizes, music and a bonfire (depending on the fireban!)

They are lighting the pit that night and hope to see everyone there!

The family of Stephen “Steve” Lee Morris thanks everybody in advance for comin’ out and be sure to spread the word!!
