Description

Robert Ross returns home to the Miramichi for a great afternoon of live music.
Robert will play songs from his albums and some of his new upcoming music as well as some of your favorite country songs.
Robert’s debut album, titled "It’s Never Too Late" was released in Australia in 2019. It features ten original songs influenced by Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Randy Travis, and Sawyer Brown, with a hint of Rock n’ Roll.
His songs “Jack Daniels” reached #1 in Australia, while “Driving Me Insane” and “Don't You Cry” topped the International Independent (INDIE) charts. “Don’t You Cry” was nominated for Single of the Year at the Josie Music Awards in Nashville, 2021.
In October 2023, Robert moved to Nashville and reunited with Canadian artist Gil Grand.
Together, they created his second album, "Better with Time" featuring 10 original songs written or co-written by Robert and Mr. Grand.
In July 2024, two singles were released in the USA, Australia, and Europe: “Drink Em Down” and “Mamma’s Song.” “Drink Em Down” reached the top of two INDIE charts in the USA, placed in the top 10 in the UK and Europe, and rested in the top 40 in Australia. The song “Drink Em Down” has been nominated for seven awards at the Red-Carpet Awards in Europe in September 2025, where Robert is scheduled to perform live. “Mamma’s Song” has also charted in the USA, reaching the top 40 on the Christian charts and receiving nominations for five awards at the Voices of Gospel Awards in May 2025.
Robert was nominated and won the Independent Music Network 2024 award for New Discovery Artist in January 2025.
2025 saw the release of two singles. In January, the title track from the album "Better With Time"reached the top 25 on several independent music charts and. Muzic Times wrote “Let’s be real – most music these days is obsessed with youth. Fast love, flashy looks and fleeting fame. But every now and then something comes along that feels timeless.
Something like Robert Ross’ latest single. It doesn’t shout for attention – it simple speaks. And when it does, you can’t help but listen.”
In May 2025, Rob released his latest single, “People Like Me”. It’s a fantastic summer party anthem song in which Robert pays a heartfelt tribute to all our soldiers. Skope magazine wrote “Coming hot on the heels of this New Music Weekly Top 25 smash “Better with Time”
(which, true to its title is still aging like a fine whiskey on the charts), “People Like me” is not about chasing trends or overthinking the art. There is a worn denim authenticity to everything about this track, a quality that so many modern country artists try to fake and so few can truly summon. Here’s to the doers, the dreamers, here is to Robert Ross, one of the real ones.”
