Mr. William Marshall Gaston, husband of the late Roberta Gaston of Route 8, Blissfield NB, passed away Saturday November 4, 2017 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 88.
Born in Doaktown NB, he was the son of the late William Alexander and Lucy (Robinson) Gaston. He was a retired Military Electronics Technician for 32 years, he was a member of Our Lady of Annunciation R C Church, member of Knights of Columbus, member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 23, he also served in peacetime.
He is survived by two daughters Linda Gaston of Blissfield and Kelly Carroll (Keith) of New Bandon, one son Billy (Lana) of Miramichi, four sisters, Betty Neess (Ove) of Doaktown, Sharon Clowater (Merv) of Doaktown, Eleanor Gilks (Evelock) of Blissfield and Joanne Gaston of Fredericton, three brothers, Edward (Glenna) of Doaktown, Wilfred (Jan) of Middletown NS and Bev (Linda) of Doaktown, 6 grandchildren.
Besides his parents and he wife, he was predeceased by four brothers, Floyd, Morrissey, Ronnie and Bobby, two sisters, Margie and Shirley.
Mr. William Marshall Gaston is resting at Our Lady of Annunciation Roman Catholic Church, Doaktown, with visitation on Wednesday November 8, from 2-4 & 709. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday November 9, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Annunciation Roman Catholic Church, Doaktown, with Father Godwin Kalu and Father Leon Creamer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
