Armand Joseph Brideau
Armand Joseph Brideau, husband of Evangeline “Lynn” (LeClair) Brideau of Foyer Assumption Nursing Home, Rogersville, NB, formerly of Nelson-Miramichi, NB, passed away at the Foyer Assumption Nursing Home, Rogersville, NB, on Saturday, July 13th, 2019, aged 92.
Born in Tracadie, NB, Armand was the son of the late André and Arthemise (Doiron) Brideau.
Armand was retired from Repap Miramichi, a former chauffeur for Lieutenant Governor Leonard O’Brien, and an Honorary Third Degree Knight with the Father Michael Egan Council # 8381.
Armand is survived by his wife: Evangeline “Lynn” (LeClair) Brideau; three daughters: Dianne (Stephen) Fitzpatrick of Boom Road, NB, Jacqueline Legrow of Chatham, NB and Carmel (Garry) MacTavish of Nelson-Miramichi, NB; two sons: Ronald (Monique) Brideau and David (Lisa) Brideau, both of Nelson-Miramichi, NB; two sisters: Demerise Comeau and Marie Anne Doucet, both of Tracadie, NB; two brothers: Gerald (Judith) Brideau and Valere (Jeanne) Brideau, both of Tracadie, NB; sister in law: Irene Brideau of Tracadie, NB; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents: Andre and Arthemise (Doiron) Brideau; Armand is predeceased by grandson: Paul; two brothers: André and Aurelle; one sister in law: Madelaine Brideau and two brothers in law: Laurent Doucet and Onias Comeau.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB, on Wednesday, July 17th, 2019, from 2-4 and 7-9PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Nelson-Miramichi, NB, on Thursday, July 18th, 2019, at 11 AM with Father Arnie Hachey officiating.
Burial will take place at Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.
