Carmel Marie Loggie
1930 – 2019
Carmel Marie Loggie, of Sunny Corner, NB, wife of the late Boyd Loggie passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the age of 89. Born in Sunny Corner, NB, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Dupuis) Burns.
Carmel is survived by three daughters: Claudia Schibler (Erik) of Nova Scotia, Lynn Loggie of Sunny Corner, NB and Pamela Fevens (Tim) of Burlington, ON; two sons: Terrence Burns (Kate) of Fredericton, NB and Gary Loggie of Fredericton, NB; seven sisters: Margaret Daoust of Burlington, ON, Isabella Burns of Saint John, NB, Katherine Binns (Jim), Arlene Bryce (Dave), Patricia Munroe, Rita Murdoch and Jacqueline Burns all of Hamilton, ON; one brother: Clarence (Junior) Burns of Sunny Corner, NB; grandchildren: Shannon, Scott (Erin), Colleen (Ian), Michael and Sarah; great grandchildren: Noah and Cadence, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Boyd and parents Clarence and Elizabeth, Carmel is predeceased by one son: Burns Daniel; two sisters: Anna Marie Rafuse and Theresa Barlow; five brothers: Gordon (Henry), Vincent, John Frederick, John Lewis and Daniel.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday evening, November 6, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 11:00 Am from St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank, NB with Father Dan Melanson officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
