Mr. Wilfred Stanley Jardine, husband of the late Hazel (Sherrard) Jardine of Maple Glen NB, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 89.
Born in Curtis Road NB, he was the son of the late Lorne and Isabel (Lumsden) Jardine. He was a retired woods worker and a member of the United Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Susan Whitney (Blake) of Maple Glen and Patsy Walsh of Chaplin Island Road, one son Tom (Marie) Jardine of Beaverbrook, two sisters, Vera Richard (Late Edward) of Chaplin Island Road and Mary-Emma Tarr (Herbie) of Nelson Miramichi, three brothers, Clifford of Ontario, Winson (Gladys) of Maple Glen and Colin of Maine, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild
Besides his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by sisters Helen Hatt and Emaline Matchett, six brothers, Robert, Elwin, Rufus, Allan, Raymond and Harold and also a special friend Francis Harper.
Mr. Wilfred Stanley Jardine is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 11 am at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Geza Szemok officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Glen Cemetery.
