Miramichi's Funeral Announcements Diane Lobban

Diane Lobban, wife of Andy Lobban of Bradd Street Miramichi, passed away peacefully with family at her side after a long courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday July 21, 2020, at the Miramichi Hospital.

Born in Chatham NB on October 15, 1957, she was the daughter of Bertha Paulin and the late Jean Paulin of Miramichi.

Besides Andy, her husband of 34 years, she is survived by one son, Michael Lobban (Rebecca MacDonald) of Miramichi.

She leaves to mourn four sisters: Murielle Phee (late Lester) of Regina Saskatchewan, Ginette Garrish (Barry) of Napan, Carole Paulin of Bowell Alberta, Anne Wentzell (Paul) of Fredericton, and one brother Ron Paulin (Becky) of Napan.

She is also survived by her father-in-law, Charles Lobban, sister-in-law, Christine Lobban, and brothers-in-law, Geoff Lobban and Jamie Lobban, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was much loved and will be missed by her Godmother Argentine Richard of Miramichi.

Diane loved flowers and always made sure her Mom's gardens were well tended. She was also very fond of animals, especially her three cats, Sheenobi, Bear and Pepper.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 24 at 2:00pm, at Saint Michael's Basilica. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's cemetery.

A special thank you for the wonderful care given to Diane by the staff at the Palliative Care Unit of Miramichi Hospital.

Arrangements are under the care of Maher's Funeral Home with no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
