Olive Edna (Sturgeon) Tucker, wife of the late Anthony Tucker of Kelly’s Special Care Home, formerly of White Rapids, passed away at her late residence on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at the age of 95.
Born in White Rapids, NB, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Maria (Sullivan) Sturgeon. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Agnes Anglican Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Vivian Tucker (Greg) of Warwick Settlement, Audrey Brown (Daniel) of Moncton and Connie Walls (Bedford) of Dieppe; her son, Calvin Sturgeon (Late Daphne) of White Rapids; her sisters, Grace Astle (Hiram) of Quarryville, Mary Tucker (Clarence) of White Rapids and Rita Sturgeon (Kenneth) of White Rapids; her 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter Wendy, granddaughter Sheena, sister Cora Curtis and brothers, William, James, David, Hazen, Myles, Sherman, Clarence, Sterling, Lindsay and Norman.
Olive Edna (Sturgeon) Tucker is resting at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Friday from 3pm-7pm *please respect social distancing*. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10 am at Holy Trinity Anglican Church with Father Gerry Laskey officiating, Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the funeral will be by invitation only. Burial will follow in the family plot of St Bridget’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.
