It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Francis Stewart, known to his family and many friends as Timmy Stewart, of Miramichi N.B. Paul passed away on September 17, 2020 at the Dr. George L. Dumont University Hospital in Moncton at the age of 73.
He was the son of the late Paul and Mabel (Jardine) Stewart of Quarryville, N.B. He had retired after a long career in Instrumentation, where he was actively involved with the Communication Energy & Paperworkers Union of Canada. He was also a retired volunteer firefighter. Paul was very involved in the community and was always available to help his friends, family and neighbors. He was an active member of the Highland Society of N.B. at Miramichi and the Miramichi Curling Club. He had many interests and enjoyed reading, golfing and working in his yard. It is often said that his lawn and garden were the envy of many people in the neighborhood.
He is survived by his daughter, Gina Stewart of Toronto, a son Michael Stewart (Debbie) of Miramichi, his brother Perry Stewart (Alexina) of Fredericton, sisters Cheryl Stewart and Nancy Gerrish (Lawrence) of Miramichi, grandchildren Robyn and Tanner as well as extended family members and many friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Jason Stewart and a special Aunt, Irma Jardine.

In Paul’s memory, a donation to a memorial of your choice would be appreciated.
